Tidal Research provides environmental science, research and analytics to inform the management of Aotearoa’s estuarine and marine environments.
Our focus is on conducting research which enhances marine ecosystems.
We collaborate with a range of research partners including crown research organisations, universities, hapū and iwi, local and central government, public and private companies and individuals.
We provide a range of services, including estuarine and coastal data analysis and modelling, advice for management, blue carbon inventories, monitoring and assessment, habitat mapping, ecosystem restoration and enhancement.
